RYTM was founded by competitive runners who were tired of settling for generic kit. We set out to build something better — performance apparel designed from the track up, manufactured in the UK, USA and China, and customised for the clubs and athletes who wear it.
Our Story
BORN FROM FRUSTRATION ON THE START LINE
It started with a simple observation: club runners were turning up to race in kit that didn't fit properly, faded after a season, and looked nothing like the identity their club had worked hard to build.
RYTM stands for rhythm — the beat that keeps you moving when everything else falls away. We built a direct relationship between design, manufacturing, and the athlete, cutting out the middlemen and the compromises that come with them. Every garment we produce is made to order, manufactured across the UK, USA and China, to a specification that competitive runners actually care about.
Today we work with clubs and athletes across the country, from grassroots running clubs to national-level squads. The brief is always the same: kit that performs as well as it looks, and looks exactly like you.
From The Founder
BUILT FROM A LIFETIME IN ATHLETICS
I'm David Locker, and RYTM is named after something every runner knows — rhythm. The rhythm of your stride, your breathing, and the movement that makes running feel natural.
Running has shaped my life. From junior national competition and racing in the USA, to representing Great Britain as a masters athlete. My lifetime bests include 1:49.2 for 800m and 3:47.1 for 1500m — and my passion for the sport continues into my fifties, with a European masters silver medal and a place in a world-record-breaking V45 4 × 800m relay team.
Over those years, I've learned how much it means to pull on a club vest. It represents your teammates, your hard work, and the pride of belonging. That feeling inspired RYTM: custom-designed running vests that combine club identity and individual style with lightweight performance and comfort.
Built from a lifetime in athletics, RYTM helps runners wear their colours with pride and find their own rhythm.

Our core performance fabrics are made from recycled polyester — post-consumer plastic bottles turned into race-ready technical textiles.
Zero-waste cutting
We use precision pattern cutting to minimise fabric waste. Off-cuts are collected and recycled rather than sent to landfill.
